My name is Roselind Liberty Hirsch. I have always had a passion for making a positive difference in peoples lives especially in pregnancy and birth and with infant development. I worked in nursing for about 12 years mostly in hospitals and clinics as a CNA for a few years and an LPN for the majority of those years. I worked in medical surgical, cardiac and intensive care as well as L&D and gynecological med. surg. and Postpartum/NICU.
After working with so many Doulas and Midwives in L&D that were phenomenal, I became inspired to change paths from the nursing/medical side of birth to the deeper parental support/ coaching/educational side as a Doula and Childbirth/Infant Educator. I went through Dona International Doula training to become a Certified Doula and became certified through Lamaze International for Childbirth Education. However a lot of my knowledge comes from my nursing experience. I can help in a wide range of pre/peri and postnatal care helping the mother and family to achieve the most positive birthing experience possible. Through my different career chapters I have come full circle to my true calling and am very excited about the wonderful experiences ahead.
I had experience in working the mother/baby unit(Postpartum) and some NICU as well. I love working with newborns and I love working with the parents through their development as well. This has set me on a path to fill a nitch in the first year of babies life as an Infant care specialist. It is a combination of a Postpartum Doula, Nanny, Baby Nurse and Educator. I have put together a type of developmental program to assist baby through their early months to achieve great developmental success. I am very happy with the results I have seen with my Infant Care work.
I have also always been interested in alternative therapies and feel that body work can be significantly beneficial to the health of an individual. I have had my own experiences of great healing with my own body through body work and wanted to help others find optimal health through body work. I spent 2 years going through intense schooling to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. I received extra training to specialize in Prenatal/Postnatal and Infant massage to better assist ladies in the world of pregnancy. Through my different career chapters I have come full circle to my true calling and am very excited about the wonderful experiences ahead.
I am the Prenatal Yoga Instructor and also the Infant Massage instructor and one of the Lactation Instructors at Rose Medical Center in Denver. These classes are packed full of wonderful information along with being a lot of fun. If your interested in these classes please look them up in our Rose Babies parent education section and give us a call to find out class times/fees. However I can also teach any of these classes privately to you in your own home at about the same price.
